Owners of DogGone Gorgeous, Amy and Rex King, first opened their doors to their new grooming business in March 2014. It was after the encouragement of Amy's sister, Lynn Marksbury, who passed away on March 6 from breast cancer, that Amy and Rex decided to follow their dreams. Now, less than two years later, they have opened their doors to their new home on Milan Rd. This location is testament to their hard work and dedication as it offers more space for their quickly growing business.
out of towners
"We are from out of town and had to come to Sandusky for a wedding. We took both our dogs there for the night. Not only were they flexible with time they also posted pictures and videos on their Facebook page so we could see how our little ones were doing. They are genuinely friendly and explained everything thoroughly before and after.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Cleveland State in Supply Chain Management, but my true passions have always been canines, which is what lead me to work at DGG. Hello, my name is Paige and I'm a Dog Groomer at DGG. I started in November of 2016. I love all kinds of dogs, but my favorites are definitely Siberian Huskies and Poodles! Animals have always been my passion, and I'm always looking to improve my work.
I am Tom Puliafico, have been working with dogs for the past ten years. My main focuses have been behavioral modification, obedience and socialization with everyday, family pet dogs. I have had the opportunity to work with some of the best dog trainers in the country and for some great companies in the past. I have worked with puppies learning basic obedience to helping dogs with severe aggression and anxiety issues. I find it very important to properly help dogs understand how to navigate in our world. Know how to socialize and interact with their own species properly. There are three things I want to teach every dog I interact with; what we want them to do, what we don’t want them to do and how to make the right choices on their own. My mission is to help human and dogs, create a balance of trust and respect for each other. And build a better understanding of each other as separate species learning to coexist. The learning never stops and there is always something new that dogs teach me every day. I have three dogs; Drax, Snow and Sasja. And the greatest partner I could ask for, Kayanna Schuh, who I get to team up with at DGG and is heavily involved in the dog community specializing in nutrition and health. I am beyond grateful and looking forward to bring my knowledge and services to DogGone Gorgeous, and the Sandusky community!
